Update 13: UK, EU, and ROW shipping beginning! US books hitting the water!
– Tue, May 26, 2026 at 03:51:14 AM
Hello, outlaws! It is VERY HOT in the UK right now as we get ready for UK Games Expo, but I come to you with an exciting update: the first half of the Kickstarter orders are being shipped this week!
Read on for an update on where everything is and when you can expect your copies to arrive. Let's go!
1: Printing and Production - COMPLETE!
2: Shipping and Fulfilment
Those of you who have been paying attention to these updates know that we're fulfilling orders from two different warehouses, one here in the UK (Crocodile Stores), who take care of all non-US orders, and one in the US (Studio2), who take care of all US orders.
I'm happy to say that the UK stock has arrived at our warehouse today and will start shipping today and tomorrow!
Over the weekend, all UK, EU, and non-US ROW (Rest of World) backers will have received an email from the Three Sails Studios online store saying that we have your order and that you'll receive a shipping notification shortly.
These notifications should start dropping into your email inbox from today and across the rest of the week and your Kickstarter pledges will start arriving with you soon thereafter.
A note on response times: From Thursday this week (May 28th), we're going to be at UK Games Expo. That means our response times to customer service emails will be slow. However, if there are any issues with your order, email me at george [at] threesailsstudios.com and I'll do my best to get things sorted!
And hey, don't forget to share plenty of pictures online when your copies arrive. We love seeing them! You can tag us on Instagram @threesailsstudios and on Bluesky @threesailsstudios.bsky.social
US BACKERS! To keep your shipping rates as low as we can, we fulfil all US orders from within the continental United States (Knoxville, TN, to be precise). This means that our US stock needs to be sailed through the Mediterranean and over the Atlantic and then driven to our warehouse before we can start fulfilling.
I'm happy to say that the US-bound stock is currently sat at the Port of Ambarli in Turkey and will be loaded onto a ship this week, ready to depart for the US on Friday!
Our freight forwarder has given us approximate timings for this journey. The ship, the KAAN KALKAVAN, is due to arrive in New York on June 19th. The stock will then be disembarked and driven to our warehouse and fulfilment will begin immediately.
If everything runs on time, we hope to be shipping all US orders in the last week of June, and they should arrive with you before the end of the month. As always, I will keep you updated at every step of the way.
In my last update, I mentioned that I'd be announcing the recipient of our Social Impact Stretch Goal donation. However, we're still working out some final points around exactly how they want to receive the donation, which will all be resolved after UK Games Expo. So I'll have a final donation announcement for you in my next update!
Beyond that, everything is focused on UK Games Expo right now. Three Sails Studios will be out in force at Stand 3-743, so if you're at the show, make sure to stop by and say Hi!
In the meantime, we're still building up to the crowdfunding launch of our next game, City of Espers, which will launch on Backerkit in September. If you haven't already, go give the project a follow!
I shared a post on Bluesky the other day talking about the single mechanic that absolutely sold me on the game and made me desperate to publish it: Turf. You can check out the post by clicking here.

After that very exciting update, I will say goodbye to you all for another few weeks. Remember, if you need me, all you need do is send me a direct message here on Kickstarter or send me an email to george[at]threesailsstudios.com -- I'll do my best to get back to you as quickly as possible!
Until next time, outlaws, stay safe and be excellent to each other!

Update 12: Printing Complete; Books Hitting the Road! + Backerkit Surveys Locking Soon!
– Tue, May 12, 2026 at 05:19:34 AM
Hello, outlaws! George from Three Sails Studios, here, on a beautifully sunny day in old England. This is a very important update, so please read to the end. I'll do my best to stick to the point as close as I can!
Let's go!
1: Printing and Production
I got the notification on Friday from our printers in Istanbul that all printing -- that's books, zines, and boxes -- is complete! Not only that, but all stock has been packed into cartons ready for collection by our two freight forwarders!
This is excellent news and occurred right on our intended schedule. So, I'm happy to say that...
Printing and Production Status: COMPLETE!
2: Fulfilment and Shipping
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BACKERKIT SURVEY INFORMATION INCLUDED.
With printing complete, the next step is transporting the stock from Istanbul to both the UK (to our fulfilment partner Crocodile Stores) and the US (to our fulfilment partner Studio2).
I'm happy to say that our UK-bound stock (which will cover orders from all backers outside the US) is being loaded onto a truck today (Tuesday 12th of May) and begins the journey to the UK tomorrow (Wednesday 13th of May)!
Our US stock is ready to go. We're just waiting on confirmation as to which ship will be carrying it to the UK. I will keep you all updated, but I expect that to be resolved within the next two weeks.
With stock now on the way, it is time for us to start locking down Backerkit surveys and charging for shipping.
UK, EU, and ROW (Non-US) Backers: YOU WILL RECEIVE A 48 HOUR LOCK NOTIFICATION FROM BACKERKIT TODAY (Tuesday May 12th). Please make sure your address information and payment information for postage is correct. After 48 hours, we will then charge cards and shipping will begin as soon as the stock arrive at the warehouse.
US BACKERS: YOU WILL RECEIVE A 48 HOUR LOCK NOTIFICATION FROM BACKERKIT TODAY (Tuesday May 12th). Please make sure your address information and payment information for postage is correct. After 48 hours, we will then charge cards. Shipping will begin as soon as the books arrive at the warehouse and we will keep you updated regularly.
This means that you have only 48 hours left to update your address information, if necessary, and to make any last add ons to your pledge. If you want to upgrade from digital to physical, or from the book to the box set, now is the time! Please leave a comment here or send me a direct message and I'll be happy to help.
We are hoping (note: hoping!) to send out orders to our UK backers in the final week of May, to our EU and non-US ROW backers in early June, and to have sent out all order to US backers before the end of June. Of course, I will keep you all updated every step of the way!
3. News and Updates
I'm happy to announce that we've found our partner for the Social Impact Stretch Goal donation of £2,500. I'm just working out final details with them, but I'll be announcing the final donation in our next update.
The hard work continues as it always does at Three Sails Studios as we get ready to attend UK Games Expo in just a few weeks time!
If you're attending the convention, by all means come and stop by the Three Sails stand and have a chat with us. We love meeting our community, and you can find us at Stand 3-743!
I'm also happy to report that our next game, City of Espers, is moving towards the finish line in terms of getting everything ready for launch. All writing is now finished, and we're onto the final developmental edit. And more beautiful artwork continues to arrive.
And for those Mappa Mundi fans out there, keep a weather eye on the horizon. We'll have some suitably watery updates for you soon!

Well, outlaws, we're in the final stretches now! Within the next few weeks, Gallows Corner will start arriving with you, and we hope to be completely finished with shipping by the end of June.
Keep your eye out for those Backerkit surveys, and -- as always -- I'll make sure to keep you fully up to date right here and on the Three Sails Studios Discord server!
Until next time, stay safe and be excellent to each other!

Update 11: Printing and Assembly NEARLY Complete + Update on Shipping
about 1 month ago
– Tue, Apr 28, 2026 at 08:13:18 AM
Happy Update Day, outlaws! George from Three Sails Studios, here, back with my fortnightly project updates.
I'll be following my usual structure, so let's get right down to it!
1: Printing and Production
Our incredible printers at MegaPrint in Istanbul have been hard at work making sure every single page and every single piece of Gallows Corner is the highest possible quality it can be.
I'm expecting a notification from them any day now to say that printing and assembly are complete. I'll probably give a mid-schedule update once I have final confirmation, but I'm happy to say this means we're still on track.
Printing and Production Status: On Target
2: Fulfilment and Shipping
With printing and production nearly finished, I'm ramping up to get those copies of Gallows Corner from Istanbul to our two fulfilment partners (Crocodile Stores in the UK and Studio2 in the US).
We're working with two freight forwarders to get Gallows Corner to where it needs to be. Happily, these are the same two companies we worked with last year, and they both did excellent work. Both have been instructed and are ready for final weights and dimensions. Hopefully the process goes smoothly!
On the pledge management side of things, I'm seeing a 91% completion rate, and that is before our Pledge Over Time backers have gotten access to the platform, so well done everyone! Remember, if you have access to the pledge manager already and you haven't completed your survey, get it done asap!
I expect to be locking the pledge manager in two weeks time. I'll make sure you're all updated so you can make any last minute adjustments. I'll also be locking in final shipping prices and then charging cards 48 hours after I lock the pledge manager. Again, I'll make sure you're all aware as to when this is happening.
Fulfilment and Shipping Status: On Target
3. Additional Materials
The Gallows Corner PDFs have been out for a fortnight now, and I really hope you're all enjoying them. Remember, if you are, you can leave us a review or a rating on DriveThruRPG! That kind of support is always much appreciated and really helps our visibility on the platform.
If you haven't received your Gallows Corner PDFs yet, leave me a comment here and I'll get it resolved asap!
I also sent out Mappa Mundi PDFs to all those who chose to add our award-winning debut game to their Kickstarter pledge. Again, we hope you're enjoying them! If you added a copy to your Backerkit pledge manager, you'll be receiving your copies after we lock orders and charge cards!
Additional Materials Status: COMPLETE!
4. News and Updates
In one month's time, Three Sails will be on the road to UK Games Expo 2026, ready to show off everything we're doing at the UK's biggest tabletop gaming convention!
This is always a busy time, especially alongside Kickstarter fulfilment, but it's one of our favourite times of year. If you're going to be visiting UKGE, you can find us at Stand 3-743.
We'll have Mappa Mundi and Gallows Corner with us, and we'll be running demo sessions of our new game, coming to Backerkit in September, City of Espers - A Street-Level Psychics TTRPG all weekend.
We love nothing more than meeting our community in person, so if you're going to be in Birmingham, come see us and introduce yourselves!
Signing Off
Well, outlaws, I've got to say these two weeks keep coming quicker and quicker!
By next time, I hope to be telling you that copies of Gallows Corner are on the road to the UK and on the ocean to the US! Until then, though, why not come and join us on Discord? We'd love to get to know you over there, and the community are always very welcoming!
Until next time, outlaws, as always, stay safe and be excellent to each other!
In solidarity,

Update 10.5: DTRPG Reviews Mappa Mundi PDFs delivered + Spotlight on a Campaign
about 2 months ago
– Fri, Apr 17, 2026 at 05:20:33 AM
Greetings, outlaws (or should I be calling you Chroniclers for this update?)!
I know this update comes in quick succession after the last one, but just a few things to cover today. We're going to talk DriveThruRPG reviews of Gallows Corner (or How Can You Help Us Spread The Word?), Mappa Mundi PDF deliveries, and a spotlight on an incredible TTRPG campaign that you should consider backing.
Let's get into it!
1: Reviewing Gallows Corner on DriveThruRPG!
We're now a couple of days out from sending out Gallows Corner PDFs to all backers, and we really hope you're enjoying them!
If you are, one of the best things you can do to carry on supporting us as designers and an indie publisher is to leave us a rating or (even better!) a review on DriveThruRPG!
Discoverability is one of the hardest things we as an indie publisher have to deal with. Getting people's eyes on our games is very difficult, and even more difficult on platforms like DTRPG, where thousand and thousands of products are listed, including (unfortunately) a lot of AI generated projects.
So, if you want to do us a solid and help us get more visibility on the platform, please consider leaving a review or rating of Gallows Corner and / or the 'Tales of Old England' zines!
In a process that has given me flashbacks from this time last year, I have just processed all PDF deliveries for Mappa Mundi - An Exploration + Ecology RPG, at least for those people who ordered it during the Gallows Corner campaign!
When I listed Mappa Mundi as an add on for the campaign, I was expecting maybe ten of you to pick up a copy. In actuality?
68 of you bought physical copies of Mappa Mundi (which comes with the PDF, of course!) and 67 of you bought digital copies!
Seeing the love people have for our debut (award winning!) game made us very happy and we can't wait to hear about your journeys out into the Wilds.
Those of you who ordered a copy during the campaign should now have received your PDF copies through DriveThruRPG. As always, if you haven't had an email come through, leave me a comment below or send me a DM here on Kickstarter and I'll get it fixed for you.
If you want some adventures to run alongside your copy, you can also purchase Chronicles of the Wilds, Volume 1, a PDF that contains four prewritten adventures. You can pick up a copy today by clicking here!
And if you didn't buy a copy of Mappa Mundi and now you're regretting it? You can buy copies directly from us!
3: Inkvein, and why you should consider backing it
Last, but certainly not least, I have a recommendation / suggestion for you.
Inkvein is a Mork Borg megadungeon from friend of the studio, incredibly talented TTRPG critic, and excellent designer and illustrator Luke Saunders (better known across the Internet as Murk of MurkDice / MurkMail).
Now, I'll confess, I have limited experience of Mork Borg and it's myriad third-party expansions. But the few times I have played them, I've loved them. And I got to take a look at Inkvein before it launched and people: I'm hooked already.
I was Backer #56, though I had been gunning for #1 (but stupid life got in the way).
56 is nearly first, right?!
If you like what one of our backers described as Gallows Corner's 'gritty, medievalpunk aesthics and setting' then I reckon you're going to really enjoy Inkvein. So, do me a favour and go check it out, right? And tell Luke that Three Sails sent you!
I've had a busy day, outlaws. I spent 90 minutes discussing the next 18 months of Three Sails projects with our amazing printers today, and I am excited for everything we have to bring you.
Until next time, stay safe and be excellent to each other!
In solidarity,
George
Update 10: Gallows Corner PDFs now delivered!
– Tue, Apr 14, 2026 at 08:37:26 AM
Afternoon, outlaws! George from Three Sails, here, a few hours later in the day than usual. Forgive me, but the day job has been particularly gruelling today!
It's time for my fortnightly progress update and today is an exciting one: Gallows Corner PDFs have now been sent out to all backers!
I'll cover this in more detail below, so make sure you read all the way through. Until we get to that point, let's go through the usual update structure.
Here we go!
1: Printing and Production
I'm happy to say that printing and production is going excellently!
The final print files were delivered on April 1st and proofed and approved the following day. Our printers are hard at work in Istanbul getting everything printed, bound, assembled, and quality checked, and we're incredibly happy with the quality of the work.
Have you seen what 2,500 books worth of paper looks like? You have now!
At the moment, everything looks like it's on schedule. I will, of course, keep you updated!
Printing and Production Status: On Target
2. Fulfilment and Shipping
I'm also happy to say that everything has been going really well on the fulfilment front, too!
The Backerkit pledge manager is currently at 88% completed. In real numbers, that means that 1,436 of you have completed your Backerkit surveys. We're waiting on 158 more of you to complete yours. So if you haven't already, get your survey filled in so we can get your copy to you asap!
In the next week, I'm going to be locking in our instructions to our freight shippers. We're going to be sending half of the Gallows Corner stock to the UK, where our fulfilment partners at Crocodile Stores will be shipping all orders not for the US.
We'll be sending the other half of our stock to the US, where our trusty fulfilment and consolidation partner Studio2 will be shipping all US orders.
As soon as I know more, you'll know!
I'll be locking in postage prices in early-to-mid May, and will give you ample warnings before we lock down the pledge manager and charge for shipping.
Fulfilment and Shipping Status: On Target
3. Additional Materials
The only additional materials we have for Gallows Corner are the PDFs of the core rulebook and the Tales of Old England zines.
I'm happy to say that all backers should now have received their PDF copies, delivered through DriveThruRPG!
This delivery process can take up to thirty minutes to complete, but very soon you should have an email from DTRPG with instructions on how to download your copies.
If you haven't received an email, please check your junk and spam folders first.
Once you've checked, if you still haven't received your copy, send me a message here on Kickstarter and I'll get it resolved for you as soon as possible!
Once we lock the Backerkit pledge manager, you'll also be able to download your PDF copies there, too.
BONUS CONTENT: I spent a full week preparing pregenerated County Sheets and maps for each of England's counties (and London), and I'm happy to make these available to you for free, to say thank you for supporting our indie publishing company.
And hey, did you know we have a new game crowdfunding this September?! You didn't?!
Well, I suggest you go and take a look at City of Espers - A Street-Level Psychics TTRPG, designed by Nathan Blades and published by us! It's an amazing game and I just know you're going to love it!
That's all for this update, outlaws! I really hope you enjoy your Gallows Corner PDFs, and make sure to stay excited for your physical copies arriving in the post soon.
If you haven't come to join us on Discord already, now's the time to come and do so! We want to hear all your thoughts about what you're reading and help you plan your revolts.
