Update 17: US Fulfilment Complete! Gallows Corner rests....for now

Greetings outlaws! George from Three Sails, here, with the happy news that the fulfilment process for Gallows Corner is now complete!
In practice, what does this mean?
Well, I've had reports coming in from all over the US that backers have been receiving their books and box sets. For those who haven't received them just yet, you should have received your tracking number by now. If you haven't, leave me a comment here and I'll get on it right away!
Lessons Learned
As it stands, we ended up delivering to our UK, EU, and non-US ROW backers either early (pre-June) or on time (in June), but to our US backers later than expcted (in July). That means I need to do some lessons learned reflections on our process.
We have always set ourselves ambitious targets here at Three Sails Studios. The reality of delivering nearly 1500 physical orders within four months of a Kickstarter ending is that it is a difficult and intense process, but one that we've (almost completely) been able to pull off for both Gallows Corner and Mappa Mundi.
With us printing in Turkey, rather than China like a lot of other publishers, the realities of geography mean that it is easier for us to get our stock here to the UK, from where we deliver UK, EU, and non-US ROW orders, than it is the US. Road freight is quicker than sea freight, and doesn't have quite as many dependencies.
But, we stand by our process in that sending stock by ship to the US means that our US backers wait longer, but receive cheaper shipping overall. So, US backers, thank you for your patience!
What lessons have I learned from my second time organising an international shipping and logistic operation? Try to get stock into the US as early in June as possible. Why is this important? One word: GenCon.
Studio2, our amazing and trusted fulfilment partner in the US, were caught in a log jam of projects being fulfilled in July. Added to that their ever-expanding presence at GenCon at the end of July, plus their services delivering the stock of lots of publishers to the convention, means that a slow down in getting our Gallows Corner orders out was essentially inevitable.
But Studio2 have done an amazing job for us, both with Gallows Corner and Mappa Mundi, and we'll continue to rely on them in the future. But i will be more aware of the July log jam that awaits next year!
What comes next?
Our foot never comes off the accelerator here at Three Sails Studios. Now you've all got a taste of what we do, how we do it, and what the results are, I hope you'll choose to stick with us for future projects.
And speaking of which, let me update you on the next two!
Launching on Backerkit September 1st, 2026
I've shared information with you about our next game, City of Espers, created and designed by the excellent Nathan Blades, a few times now. This will be the last time I share it here with you.
City of Espers is our first foray, as a studio, into publisher 'external' designers (as in, not one of our own games). We're incredibly excited about the game and about this new part of our operations.
While it might seem (and definitely looks) like a very different game to Gallows Corner and Mappa Mundi, City of Espers carries the same DNA as our other games: a belief in the power and creativity of everyday people; a focus on space, place, and the things you can do with it; and a set of rules that let you tell stories about building a better world for you and those around you.
Plus, you know, you get to have psychic powers. And who the hell doesn't want that?!
Check out City of Espers on Backerkit by clicking here. You won't regret it!
Launching on Kickstarter February 2027
Mappa Mundi was where it all began for Three Sails Studios. Launched on Kickstarter in February 2025, fulfilled in June/July that year, and picking up its first award (Gold Award for Best RPG, Dragonmeet 2025) that same year, and then nominated for three ENnie awards this year (Best Art, Cover; Best Art, Interior; Best Production Values), the game continues to resonate with those looking for a different approach to your typical 'monster hunter' style TTRPGs.
And now we get to go beyond the coasts of our original setting, Evasu, and take the oceans and see what lies below the waves!
Mappa Mundi: Islands and Oceansis the first expansion for Mappa Mundi. Introducing a new character Licence (The Mariner), four new Regions from the wider world of Ecumene, and new Monsters and Creatures for each new region, Islands and Oceans reflects our committment to Mappa Mundi and our desire to see the game and its world grow.
Check out Mappa Mundi: Islands and Oceans here on Kickstarter. Make sure to click 'Notify Me On Launch' so you can set sail with us on Day One!
Signing Off
Well, outlaws, that's it from me for now. And don't fret: just because you don't see Gallows Corner among that list of upcoming projects doesn't mean that we're not going to be hard at work on supporting the game.
Those of you who bought the boxed version will note that there is plenty of room for new zines in there, and that's exactly what we have planned.
We haven't decided the cadence of releases for new 'Tales of Old England' zines just yet, but I'm already hard at work on the next two. When we've made a decision on exactly when and how we'll be releasing them, you'll be the first to know.
Thank you, all of you, for your support for Gallows Corner. This game was a huge effort from the whole team, but it means the world to me. I poured myself into the game and hopefully you'll all see what's there as you dive in, start reading, and start playing. We couldn't have made this happen without you, and we'll always be grateful.
If you want to come and get to know us all a little better, or to ask questions about Gallows Corner, or just to hang out in a cool community space, come and join us on Discord. We'd love to have you there with us.
Until my next update, as always, keep yourselves safe and be excellent to each other. The uprising depends on it!

Update 16.5: Slight delay in US fulfilment
15 days ago
– Tue, Jul 07, 2026 at 06:28:54 AM
Well met, outlaws! George from Three Sails here with my scheduled fortnightly update.
As everyone beyond our US backers should now have received their copies of Gallows Corner, this update is addressed specifically to our US backers.
US Backers: Last week I posted an update saying that the copies has reached our US fulfilment partner, Studio2, in Knoxville, TN, and that I expected last mile shipping (that is, the bit that gets it to your door) to begin imminently.
Well, while the copies ARE at the warehouse, it seems I was a touch hasty in saying that last mile shipping would begin immediately.
About an hour ago, Studio2 informed me that they're currently processing your orders (all your info has been sent to them and is all in order and confirmed), but that it is taking a little longer than expected to get copies out of the door.
With GenCon coming up at the end of this month, they have been extra busy processing orders, but they've assured me that all US-bound orders should be shipped by the end of next week (Friday 17th).
While this is later than I would have hoped, and certainly later than you would have hoped, I've never had any reason not to trust the Studio2 team to stick to their word. Your copies will be with you as soon as possible and in the best possible condition.
In the meantime, please accept my apologies for the delay. It's not how we like to operate, and I'll be learning my lesson for next time around. But your copies are soon to be with you; there's no danger of that!
As soon as I have tracking information for you, I'll make sure it gets to you. In the meantime, you can expect regular updates from me. When I know, you'll know shortly thereafter!
Until then, if you have any questions, please leave them in a comment here or send them to me via DM here on Kickstarter and I'll do my best to get them resolved right away.
Thanks for your patience and your support!
In solidarity,
George

Update 16 - US ORDERS STARTING FULFILMENT!
– Tue, Jun 30, 2026 at 05:11:09 AM
Greetings, outlaws! George from Three Sails, here, with a very brief update for all our US backers.
I'm happy to say that our US fulfilment partner, Studio2, received the Gallows Corner stock at their warehouse in Knoxville yesterday afternoon!
They have all the information they need from us to start sending out orders, and I am lead to believe that they will start being processed today and throughout the rest of this week.
Given that this is the last day of June, and my stated schedule was to have books with you in June, I'll conceed that this is slightly behind schedule, but I think an achievement nonetheless.
We can't wait for you to start receiving your copies! Once they arrive, be sure to let us know and share about it all across your socials. You can tag us on Instagram @threesailsstudios and on Bluesky @threesailsstudios.bsky.social
And of course, come and join us over on Discord so we can celebrate with you. You can join the server by clicking here.
I'll be back next Tuesday with a final Gallows Corner update. Until then, keep safe and be excellent to each other.

Update 15: Books Arrived in the US - final fulfilment to start soon!
– Tue, Jun 23, 2026 at 05:58:08 AM
Hello, outlaws! George, here, the creator and designer of Gallows Corner, with another fortnightly update. We're in the very final stretch now, so I'll keep this update short and sweet (especially as I expect to making another one very shortly)!
1: Shipping and Fulfilment
Gallows Corner has arrived in the US! The ship carrying our stock, the KAAN KALKAVAN, arrived off the coast of New York in the early hours of June 18th and subsequently docked and unloaded in the early hours of June 20th.
This means that the stock has been disembarked from the ship (of which I've had confirmation) and is in the process of being unloaded from it's container for subsequent pick up and delivery to Tennessee.
I don't have an exact confirmation as to when the collection is going to take place, but if my experience from last year with Mappa Mundi is anything to go by, it should be any day now.
The stock will be driven to Tennessee, delivered to Studio2, our fulfilment partner, and then 'last mile' shipping (that's the bit that gets your copy to your door!) will begin almost immediately.
At the moment, I'm hoping this will all be done by the end of June, so I can say that we're completely on track. But there might be a day or two in it that draws us into early July. I'll still count that as a victory, given that the Kickstarter finished in early March, but I like to be accountable.
So, in summary: US BACKERS! You can expect your copies of Gallows Corner to be arriving with you in the next few weeks. I will update you all here as soon as I have news that the stock has arrived with Studio2, just so you know that copies are about to hit the postal services.
Thanks for your patience, all, but not too much longer to wait now!
Signing Off
Given that it is currently 34 degrees here in Manchester, I'm going to sign this one off. But rest assured, we're all still here, all still working, and all excited to hear about your copies arriving with you!
As always, if you have any questions or issues, please leave me a comment here or send me a direct message. I'm always happy to help.
But for now, as always, keep yourselves safe and be excellent to each other!

Update 14: Fulfilment Continues Over the Long, Lonely Sea
about 1 month ago
– Tue, Jun 09, 2026 at 05:15:08 AM
Hello, outlaws! It feels like it has been the blink of an eye since my last update, but what a two weeks it has been!
Gallows Corner has shipped to all UK, EU, and non-US Rest of World backers and copies have been arriving to great acclaim! We were also at UK Games Expo, where Gallows Corner proved to be very popular, and the US-bound stock for all our US backers is currently in the Atlantic, on its way to New York and then to Knoxville and then to your doorsteps!
Oh, and we made our Social Impact Stretch Goal donation!
Let's get on with the update, shall we?
1: Printing and Production - COMPLETE
2: Shipping and Fulfilment
The first wave of shipping -- that is, all orders from backers in the UK, EU, and non-US Rest of the World -- is now complete! Copies started arriving with backers in the UK on Thursday the 28th of May and continued over the weekend, meaning that we beat our target of the end of June by a full month.
Copies kept arriving in Europe, Australia, Canada, and countries all over the world over the previous two weeks, and we've had happy reports and comments from backers everywhere who are overjoyed to be received Gallows Corner so promptly, and at such a high standard of production.
Of course, the greatest question is: is the game any good? Well, the thing that makes me most happy is that people are already playing, already enlisting their friends for the struggle, and are enjoying every minute of the game myself, Jeremy, and Joel poured so much of ourselves into. Thank you, all, for sharing your feedback and happiness. We love it!
US Backers! You are the only cohort left waiting for your copies, and I apologise that you've been left until the last. It is not by choice, but by the perils of logistics. As we print in Turkey, rather than China, which is the more popular choice, it takes far less time to get stock here to the UK for fulfilment than it does to get stock to the US.
But, it is on its way! The US-bound stock was loaded on to the ship KAAN KALKAVAN on Friday May 29th and the ship left the Port of Ambarli in the early hours of Sunday May 31st. The ship is due into New York on June 18th. The stock will then be unloaded from the ship, loaded onto a truck, and then driven to Knoxville, TN, and then will be shipped to you right away.
I will keep you up to date at all points. By the time of my next update, I'm hoping to be able to tell you that our fulfilment partner already has the stock, but I can't give exact dates just yet. But rest assured, you'll get full transparency from me, as always.
Shipping and Fulfilment: Part Complete; Part On Schedule
3: Additional Materials
By now, everyone should have received all their PDFs, both through DriveThruRPG and through Backerkit. If you haven't, please check there first. If that doesn't work, send me a message or leave a comment and I'll make sure they get resolved.
The only outstanding 'Additional Materials' concern was our Social Impact Stretch Goal donation of £2,500 to a food bank charity. I'm happy to say this donation has now been made!
Three Sails Studios made a solidarity donation of £2,500 to the Feed My City emergency food charity based here in Manchester. They received the donation gratefully and enthusiastically and have invited me to come along and visit their operation to see how our donation will be spent and the people it will support. As soon as I can arrange this, I'll make sure to share some photos with you all.
Your support for our games and our studio have allowed us to make this donation, and we're all very grateful. Thank you!
Additional Materials Status: COMPLETE
4: Other News
In other news, UK Games Expo 2026 was a very successful (if very busy and VERY hot) experience for the Three Sails team. As has become tradition, I've done a blog titled 'Running the Numbers', in which I break down what it takes to do convention appearances as a small publisher and design studio.
This is all part of our commitment to Radical Transparency, which extends beyond just our time with you here on Kickstarter and out to our whole business. If you're interested, you can read the blog by clicking here.
Finally, we're less than three months away from the launch of our next game, CITY OF ESPERS - A PSYCHIC-POWERED URBAN ACTION RPG. The game went down a storm at UK Games Expo, where we were joined by the creator and designer Nathan Blades, and we can't wait for you all to get an opportunity to get your hands on this exciting, beautiful, elegant design.
You can follow City of Espers on Backerkit now! All followers get access to the free Prerelease Guide and each follower who backs the campaign will receive five free .STL miniature files to print at home.
You all know the types of games (and their quality) that we produce here at Three Sails Studios, so we hope you'll give City of Espers a look and consider backing us as we expand into publishing the work of other creators and designers!
